This is the first book I bought for my son. It is a large board book with very clear colourful pictures.
I started reading this book to my son at 6 months. He was young so I just point to the picture and say aloud the words. As he started growing, We sat together and did a lot of activity reading with it.
I pronounced each word clearly and loudly to improve his speech. I’ll ask him to point out certain things like “Point the apple”, etc. Since the book is very colourful, It helps to teach colours by asking questions like, Can you point to the green leaf? or What’s the colour of the banana?.
There are so many different questions you can ask your child about each picture which I believe has helped him communicate better 🙂
It has been one of his favourite books till now and I am pleased I got this book for him!
